Two of Pantone’s colors for Spring 2015, Glacier Gray and Custard Yellow are speaking to me right now. I think this color combo might be the answer to how to spruce up the decor in my home. Sharing some inspiration with you, in case you agree!
How fresh does this room look? I love the graphic details and the pops of yellow.
Found on House to Home, where you can also find where to shop the look for yourself.
The colors are neutral enough to add any pop of color, such as my favorite, Turquoise!
I love this room. Aaaaaand, there are birds. From Apartment Therapy.
Or with my other favorite color, Coral!

I like the big, bold pattern on this rug, from Wayfair
The sweetest of Pantone’s Spring 2015 colors, Strawberry Ice makes me long for dewy mornings, warm evenings, and cold desserts. Here are a few things I’ve found to be pretty in pink.
Thanks to Inspire Bohemia for this huge collection of plate display ideas! This is a project that I keep meaning to do at home. My husband’s mother left him some beautiful china, including a gorgeous set with pink flowers. Lots of inspiration here.
Some plant ideas.
Indoor: succulents in pink and green.
Simply Succulents has a large variety to choose from.
Outdoor: Pink Mulhy Grass. Looks like cotton candy when it blooms!
Spectacular photographs by Shihya Kowatari who photographs leaves and flowers under different colored lights. Check out more of her work at cuded.com.
Incredible bird brooches by artist Julia Gorina. Found at Beads Magic.
Colorful watercolor print over at Sweet Magoo.
Check out her other work. I love the llama.
Happy Wednesday everyone. Halfway there..
Here’s a sneak peek at a new project I’m working on that has me excited. When I get some ready for sale, I’ll post a link!
*Update* Here they are!
May flowers always line your path and sunshine light your day. May songbirds serenade you every step along the way. May a rainbow run beside you in a sky that’s always blue. And may happiness fill your heart each day your whole life through.
Not a bird, but a birdcage! I love birdcages, but I never want to see a bird in one. I have a couple of pretty ones that I used in my wedding, and some succulents just a propagating away. I’m totally doing this project from from Rainy Side Gardeners.
Teapot Birdhouse from Robin’s Nesting Place. How sweet is this?! Projects like this get me rethinking how I look at thrift store or yard sale items that may be broken or missing a piece. I like that color, also. Lucite Green for Spring!
How about this graphic print from Sanna Annukka? Go over to her site to see lots more Finnish inspired works! Found at Animalarium.
And some clover, just for St. Patrick’s Day. This is Vermont (from birds and blooms of the 50 states) from Dutch Door.
Now off to enjoy a pint of Guinness. Cheers!
Well, hello color!
It’s 82 degrees today – weren’t we just snowed in a few days ago? Color is blooming everywhere and I love it. The only thing on my mind today was getting out in the warm sunshine with the baby. Not much else got done, but I’m ok with that. The one thing though… I need to remember to stock up on allergy medicine. Achoo!
Sharing a few photos from today. Now go outside!
One of Pantone’s colors for Spring 2015, Lucite Green evokes a mid modern mood that feels fresh again. It also reminds me of the sea, and the sea always makes me happy,
It looks great with gray in this geometric pillow cover from Nirwa on Etsy.
I like the fresh, clean feel of these triangles from Benton Park Prints.
CanisPicta has lots of fun, colorful items, like this pillow cover.
I love it with navy blue, like in this cute bedding collection from Nordstrom.
I wouldn’t feel complete without a including a bird. Here’s a gorgeous owl piece from artist Michelle Morin.
This is a new fridge from Big Chill. Maybe in my dream farmhouse one day…
…along with this KitchenAid mixer.
And now I want to be here. Summer Shine by Amy Hamilton.
Have a happy day, everybody!
